Hi everyone! I just wanted to give some information on my history. I find it most important that you know where your Aesthetician has come from and their work background. After I graduated school I began work at a Health and Wellness spa in Park City, Utah. This was a wonderful experience to be in a destination spa for the winter season. I learned some amazing techniques as well as tips and tricks. My favorite thing about this spa was the health and wellness background. Every thing they did was centered around it and it was truly a lifestyle, not just a basic facial. I learned about rituals from Japan and other parts around the world. This was truly an experience I will never forget. The last place I worked before building my own business was for an eyelash studio. I worked on hundreds of clients and mastered my eyelash techniques. This was a great opportunity for me to become the very best. I am now very excited to be able to own my own spa and have the best clientele around! I am truly blessed and appreciate all of my clients and friends who have made this dream a reality for me! Cleansing your lashes tutorial

Follow these simple steps at home to make sure your lashes stay happy and healthy! Regardless of how much makeup you wear, cleansing should be a daily ritual!

1.  Any gentle cleanser is okay to use for cleansing your lashes.  If you are not sure, baby wash (ex: Johnson & Johnson baby wash) will do the trick to remove makeup and cleanse your lashes.  We use it at the beginning of every appointment here!  Remember to cleanse your lashes everyday, otherwise build up between your lashes and extensions can cause infections!

2.  Using your cleanser and water, gently swipe your index and middle finger back and forth across your lashes- don’t be afraid to touch your lashes!  Repeat if there is left over residue.

3.  Do not use any sort of abrasive cloths such as a washcloth, cotton square, Q-tip, cotton cloth, etc. to cleanse your lashes.  These can snag on your lashes and pull out your extensions with your natural lashes.  Bald spot=no eyelash extensions.

4.  Lastly, pat your lashes dry or let air dry and use a clean mascara wand to brush your lashes into place.

How to care for your lash extensions!

• Do not get lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours
• Avoid hot steam or sauna
• For longer lasting lashes, limit the use of running water directly on your lashes
• Avoid rubbing your eyes excessively
• Use water based eye makeup remover
• Do not perm your lashes
• Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler
• Do not pull on your lashes
• Wash your lash extensions every day or every other day with a lash shampoo, baby shampoo, or cetaphil

Health Inspection

Remember it is always important to go to a spa that has passed their health inspection and you know is safe and sanitary! There are places out there that may not have this on their wall and they should for your knowledge. I am very cautious of all of the safety and sanitary guidelines and always maintain a clean atmosphere!
